Build your first flashcard deck in two minutes

A deck is just a themed stack of flashcards — Spanish verbs, biology terms, capital cities, anything you want to remember. Here's how to create your first one and add a few cards in under two minutes.
Create a new deck
Open the Decks tab and tap the + button in the top-right corner. Give your deck a name, pick a color, and choose whether it's a language deck (which unlocks pronunciation) or a general deck.
Tip: Keep decks focused — 20–40 cards per deck reviews better than one giant deck of 500.
Add your cards
Each card has a front (the prompt) and a back (the answer). You can add them three ways:
Type them in
Add front and back text one card at a time — fastest for a quick start.
Import a list
Paste a CSV or import from Anki to bring in dozens of cards at once.
Start from a template
Pick an expert deck for your language and edit it to fit your level.
Start reviewing
Once you have a handful of cards, tap Study. Remembly shows each card, you try to recall the answer, then rate how well you knew it. That rating is what feeds the spaced-repetition schedule — the app handles the timing from there.
