Our story

We're one small team of designers based in Berlin, united by a love of learning languages. For years we leaned on flashcards — a method that, again and again, proved it could actually make a language stick.

But we could never find an app that combined the two things we cared about most: genuine aesthetics and real gamification. Something always felt like it was missing.

Brainscape, Quizlet and Duolingo all do a great job. We just always felt something was missing — so we decided to build it ourselves.

Remembly is our answer: an app to help you learn languages — and anything else — more efficiently, pairing actual learning science with an experience designed to genuinely delight you. We're putting the finishing touches on it right now — built in the open, and shaped by the people who'll learn with it.
